The Best Halloween Treats At Disneyland

Halloween Time is in full effect at the Disneyland Resort and I couldn’t be more excited! There are so many new things to see, eat and wear… I am not sure I’ll have time to do it all but darn it I plan to try! I love holiday time at Disneyland and Halloween season just marks the start of months of seasonal fun. We visited the resort recently to try as many of limited time Halloween treats we could manage now and I wanted to share with you my favorites so far!

I didn’t really have a strategy going in because I knew I was going to split the taste testing into two trips. Mainly to save my stomach from consuming too many treats… but also to create another excuse to head back into the parks. So I tried my best to mix in things from both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure to provide some variety on what is out this year.

Mickey Mummy Macaroon

I know I am late to the game but I just recently tried the raspberry macaroon & OMG! It is AMAZING! I love macaroons but my thought has always been, splurge of either the classic or the *big* treats when at Disney! I am happy to report that I was wrong. Luckily the lesson with the raspberry macaron came early enough to encourage me to try the Mickey Mummy macaroon which you can find at Jolly Holiday. The cookie is filled with Cookies and Cream filling and is the perfect size to share… but I won’t judge if you elect to keep it all for yourself.

Pumpkin Spice Beignet

I can’t have a list of amazing treats and not include something Pumpkin Spice! This is my first year trying these Mickey pumpkin spice beignets and I’m HOOKED! These have just the right amount of pumpkin spice. I will say we shared a few of the various spooky churros, and this beignet left them in the dust (the churro dust, *bum-dum-tisssss*).

Blood Orange Slush With Raspberry Sauce

This drink is sweet and tart all mixed one. It was refreshing after a long day and was the perfect post villain dance party drink! It comes with a glowing ice cube which was great for the kids. Wash and keep the light-up cube because it makes a great toy! I would only recommend this drink on one of the hotter days (fun fact for non-Californians planning a trip: September is typically the hottest month in SoCal) but it is definitely on the pricier side.

Frozen Abuelita Horchata

Yes I know another treat! If there is anything you bye this Halloween season it has to be this! This drink is hands down my top favorite treat…EVER! The mixture of the Abuelita’s hot chocolate and horchata is everything your tastebuds need and more. I grew up drinking both drinks separately and never really thought of mixing them together but I’m so glad someone did. You can find this drink in Frontierland at Rancho Del Zocalo Restuarant.

Caramel Apple Churro

I’ve been wanting to try this treat the moment I heard it was coming to Disney California Adventure! I love Disney churros and I love apple pie so mixing the two was a match made in Disney treat heaven. These were the perfect amount of sweet which I enjoyed. It was a great treat and definitely shareable You can find these at the churro cart in Hollywood Land.

Other Must-Try Halloween Treats

There are so many amazing Disney Halloween treats that my stomach (& wallet) can’t afford to consume! But I do plan to try more as the month goes on before the next batch of Holiday treats come by because we all know Christmas time is going to be just as delicious!

Let me know what your favorite Disney Halloween treats are in the comments!
