WandaVision Spoiler Free Review

The time is here! WandaVision is now streaming on Disney+. At midnight PST Disney+ premiered TWO episodes of the show and wow was it a treat. I am half asleep but I just had to share the excitement of the show with you.

What is WandaVision about?

Wanda and Vision both find themselves in a suburban area just trying to find a way to fit in. They are an unusual couple but everyone seems to take to them quickly. They find different ways to fit in and make themselves look as normal as possible, even though that seems impossible.

What are my thoughts on WandaVision?

This Show is unlike anything I have ever seen. It’s witty and quirky, just what you’d expect from a sitcom type of show. But there are elements within each scene that gives it that Marvel feel we know and love. It keeps you intrigued by the colorful dialect but also questioning the surroundings. It’s not hard to miss certain Easter eggs within each shot which will have any Marvel fan creating their own theories about what’s going on with Wanda and Vision.

Elizabeth Olsen’s performance is incredible. She takes to each decade so naturally it’s hard to imagine her as anyone else. She steals the scene in each shot and will keep you coming back for more. Paul Bettany is witty and hilarious in an old time-y type of way. His accent and charm add to the character beautifully.

kathryn Hahn plays the nosey know it all neighbor who won’t seem to let up. She’s the neighbor that will come over unannounced and at the worst time. She is hilarious and witty and plays her character so well. What I love about her character is she tells it like it is. Kathyrn Hahn is amazing at playing the person who always needs a drink, if I am putting it lightly. Her one liners in the show really brings out her comedy and will have you cracking up.

WandaVision is…weird but in the best way possible. You think you know where something is going and then it completely changes. Like Wanda says ” We just don’t know what to expect.”

Final Thoughts

I am SO happy WandaVision is finally out and Marvel seems to be working hard on making sure we have new content all year long. They really hit it out of the park with this one. The script, the costumes, the music and laugh tracks. It really takes you back by bringing you forward and I am just so excited to see where they take this story. I will update this post as the episodes progress and will continue to share my thoughts overall once the season is over.

Be sure to catch WandaVision now streaming on Disney+.
