One of the main reasons I go to Disneyland is for the food. Sure the attractions are great and all… but the food is where it’s at. Unfortunately I can’t always make my way into the parks for all of my favorite snacks. And when I can, well, I can only fit/afford so much. I also like to eat fairly healthy most of the times sooo a Disney treat isn’t always an option.

Solution: I decided to bring the snacks to me! Today I am sharing with you one of my favorite treats of all – The Dole Whip! Below is The Best Homemade Copycat Disney Dole Whip recipe followed/revised to my version of perfection.

I LOVE Disney’s Dole Whip! It is the best treat on a hot day and, let’s be real, here in California that’s like 90% of the year. My goal for this recipe was to make it cheap, quick, and not loaded with processed sugar. You’ll only need a couple of ingredients to make The Best Homemade Copycat Disney Dole Whip.

Things you’ll need:

  • The first thing you’ll need is a fast speed blender. I use my nutribullet . I’ve been obsessed with how well this thing works for its value since I got it years ago- and it is great for a single serving.
  • A Cute cup to make it fun!

Ingredients:

  • Pineapple- I mean, obviously. Frozen pineapple works the best! You can find bagged pre-cut frozen pineapple at your local grocery store.
  • Liquid Base- Honestly, you can use any source you’d like. Coconut milk is also a good option and sticks with the tropical theme. You can also use frozen whipped cream, I tried that for my wife since she is allergic to coconut (yes, that’s a real allergy).
  • Pineapple Juice- Yes, in addition to your previously selected liquid base. Gotta amplify that pineapple!

Now for the fun part- Let’s make The Best Homemade Copycat Disney Dole Whip!

Add 1 cup frozen pineapple, 1/2 cup frozen whipped cream and 1/4 cup pineapple juice (or any liquid base) to your nutrilbullet blender. You may need more liquid but I like to start off with less first then add more as needed.
