The holiday season is upon us! And I am SOOOO excited! I love Christmas so much, I started writing this post on Halloween :). I’m already trying to figure out little ways to bring Christmas magic into our home so the kiddos don’t miss out for one second. I’m just too excited and can’t wait to share it all!
This year we aren’t really going crazy on Christmas shopping but I am thinking of creating fun themed baskets to give to those who have made quarantine a little easier for us. If you want to gift a service worker, your friends or even make one for yourself, Keep on reading and I’ll show you How To Create The Perfect Themed Christmas Gift Basket.
What is a Themed Christmas Gift Basket?
I love a good gift basket. It’s perfect for fitting a variety of little (or big) things that can fit a persons many interests. From the coffee lover in your life to someone who loves cheese and crackers it’s the perfect way to let someone know you were thinking of them. What I like about themed Christmas baskets is they can be super inexpensive because you get to decide how big or small you want it to be. You choose what to add so it’s fully customizable. if you need a few theming ideas I put together a list of what to create:
- Coffee lover baskets
- Cheese and wine basket
- Candy basket
- Self Care basket
- Disney obsessed basket
- Movie Night basket
- Thank you Basket
Really the possibilities are endless! These are also a fun way to create family traditions. Maybe you decide to create a movie night basket filled with Movie Theater snacks, a blanket, some popcorn and a movie to have your own family movie night. Get creative with it and what you add to it and make it memorable.
The Best Products for Themed Christmas Gift Baskets
So now that we know what kind of gift baskets we can make we obviously have to find the best basket to fit it all. Whether you want something small to gift your mail person or something a little bigger for you parents or best friend. Finding the basket to fit it all is important. I would suggest getting your items first then get your basket. That way you know exactly what size to get to fit everything.
The Best Products For Coffee Lovers Gift Basket
Let’s start with my favorite… COFFEE! I would love a basket like this for myself to be honest! Let’s think about what a coffee lover would like, a cute mug, good coffee, maybe some cookies to go with, and we can throw in a fun gift card from Starbucks.
*Full disclaimer you will find a majority of the items I list are from Target, I have no shame!
Coffee Mugs
I collect fun and cute quirky coffee mugs it’s just my things so this is a must in any gift basket for a coffee lover. You can find them at Target, HomeGoods, Walmart, really just about anywhere. These are a few of my fave from Target.
Coffee…Obviously
You can’t have a coffee lovers gift basket without the coffee! You can add whatever you like and whatever size. I tend to stick to well known brands like Starbucks, Dunkin’ or Foldgers. I also want to make sure I use ground coffee because I don’t know if the person receiving the gift has a coffee grinder.
Milk Frother
I love a good Milk frother. It takes my morning coffee to a different level! I love this one from Zulay Kitchen I use it almost everyday.
These items are just starters you can even go as far as including their favorite sweetener or coffee creamer, or anything else that would go well with This Coffee Lovers Gift Basket.

More Ideas For Themed Baskets
Gift Basket for the Cheese and wine Lover
World Market is a fun store to shop for wine and cheese lovers. Every time I check the website or go into the store there is always something fun and exciting that would fit perfectly for and wine lover.
Gift Basket for Candy Lovers
You can honestly go with any candy but it honestly just depends on the person you are gifting. You can’t go wrong with a little chocolate, a little chewy and little sour.
Self Care Baskets
We all need a little self care these days. This basket idea is the perfect excuse for someone to unwind and have some alone time.
Although there is more to self care than face masks, having some time to yourself can be super beneficial for your mental health. So sometimes that includes a mud face mask, a self care journal and a quiet place.

Disney Obsessed Baskets
I can’t write a post about gifts and not include Disney. If there is a family member or friend who you know is a huge Disney fan this is for them.
We don’t want to fit over sized things in the basket so finding small cute and functional Disney items can be challenging. Find some cute Minnie Ears, a Disney mug, maybe even a fun book on the Parks can be a great way to add Disney magic.
Movie Night Basket
This basket could be perfect even to make for your family as Christmas Tradition. You can include family pjs to match, your favorite candy, snacks and your favorite soft drinks. You can rent a movie on Amazon Prime or check any streaming service for your favorite movies.
Family Friendly Movies for a Christmas Movie Night:
- Home Alone 1 & 2
- Elf
- How The Grinch Stole Christmas ( Live Action)
- Noelle ( On Disney+)
- The Nightmare Before Christmas
- Olaf’s Frozen adventure
- The Santa Claus
These are just a few of my favorites!

Thank you Gift Basket
This year has been insane to say the least and while everyone had to be on lock down, there were some of those who had to work. Without our frontline workers things would’ve been a lot worse. A nice way to show our appreciation is through a nice gift basket to say Thank You!
What to Include
There’s no one answer to this. One thing I would definitely include is some and sanitizer, a face mask and maybe a mix of everything above. No matter what you decide to include making sure to add a Thank You Note is essential! Just a few words to show our endless gratitude.
The Best Baskets
You can’t have a gift basket without the actual basket. So I rounded up a few that would be perfect. They vary in size too so depending on what you plan to do they’ll be the perfect fit.
